SALVATION
SALVATION
The good news of Christianity is that God has made a way for us to be reunited with Him through Jesus Christ and his redemptive work on the cross.
This message of good news can be summed up in this:
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).
Jesus answered, “I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6).
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21).
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves; it is a gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord (Acts 3:19).

BAPTISM
Baptism throughout the ages has been an act of obedience done by those who profess faith in Christ. It is an act that demonstrates the grace that God has given us through Christ Jesus and declares to the world that reality. It is an outward sign of the inward change that mirrors Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. By participating in this act, the Christian is not only identifying with Christ, but with His bride (Ephesians 4). It is through baptism that we declare ourselves to be a part of the body of Christ. There is nothing salvific about this act, but it can be, and should be transformative for the Christian as they take steps of obedience towards becoming more like Christ. Because of this, Baptism is more than just a symbol, it is an opportunity for the Christian to experience the grace of God in their life in a meaningful way.

READY FOR BAPTISM?
"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." (Romans 6:4)
We love celebrating BIG with Baptism Sundays!
Baptism is a public announcement that you’ve trusted in Jesus! It symbolizes your faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, and your death to sin, the burial of your old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.
