WELCOME TO AWANA
WELCOME TO AWANA
Amid times of change, chaos, and an uncertain future, we believe the church needs to refocus on relational, scriptural, and experiential child discipleship. Each Wednesday night kids, 2 years old - 5th grade, will experience biblical teaching, fun games, engaging crafts and Bible memorization.

FAQ
Have questions? We have the answers!
AWANA is a year-long discipleship event. Broken up into two semesters, 14 weeks each, kids will experience biblical teaching, fun games, engaging crafts, and Bible memorization.
Our program provides a safe and nurturing environment where your children will be guided by compassionate adults who are grounded in the teachings of God's Word. They will learn how to apply these teachings to their daily lives, enabling them to live a life of faith.
We meet at Fairview Church on Wednesday nights during the fall and spring semesters.
Please note your child's grade and age by August 11th, 2024. For example, if your child is age 3 as of August 11th, 2024, they will register for the Cubbies Class.
Puggles (age 2)
Cubbies (ages 3 and 4, Pre-K)
Sparks (K, 1st, 2nd)
T&T Ultimate Adventure (3rd, 4th, 5th)
You can find the link HERE!
Each child will need to pay a registration fee (which includes their handbook) and will need to purchase a uniform (if they do not have one from the year prior).
The registration fee covers the cost of a handbook. You will only need to purchase a handbook if you lose the one that is given to you after the program has started.
Yes! Each group has their own uniform. Puggles have a t-shirt. Cubbies have a blue vest, Sparks has a red vest, and T&T has a green jersey. Since children may remain in one club for multiple years, please take into consideration the child’s current size and anticipated growth when selecting the size of uniform. NOTE: Awana uniforms run small, so please order one size larger than your child’s normal size. If the uniform is lost you will need to pay for a new one.
Handbooks and uniforms usually come within one week of when we place the order. They will be handed to the clubber upon the start of the program at the beginning of the semester. If you are joining in the middle of the semester, books and uniforms take a few weeks to arrive.
Doors open for drop off at 5:50pm.
At AWANA, kids may collect points for attending clubs, bringing their handbook, bringing their Bible, and wearing their uniform.
For your child to be a part of our Awana Clubs, we require at least one parent/guardian to be present on campus throughout the evening. This could include: being involved with another ministry on campus at Fairview Church or serving in the Awana Club as a leader/volunteer.
YES! Club members are encouraged to bring friends at any time during the school year. Visitors must meet the age demographics of the program they plan to attend.
YES! Childcare will be provided for those whose spouse is unavailable. Please reserve this space for families who are in need of this resource. Register HERE for childcare.
Fairview Church goes along with the Lebanon Special School District (LSSD) and Wilson County Schools weather policies. Mrs. Bek will also send an email and text notifying families if AWANA has been canceled due to inclement weather.
THIS IS AWESOME! Please feel free to email our Kids Director, Bek Jones, and let her know you want to help at AWANA!
